Practice Concentrations
Andrew has represented hundreds of closely held and family businesses as general corporate counsel. His extensive experience in the areas of estate planning and business succession planning is of particular interest to family-owned businesses who need help with this delicate issue.
In representing closely held, but growing businesses, Andrew has been instrumental in helping his clients with business purchases, mergers, property tax appeals and security offerings among other things.
Andrew has also developed a niche practice in franchise, licensing and distribution law where he assists franchisors with formation, registration and maintenance of their franchise systems throughout the United States. He also assists franchisees with the review of area developer, royalty, franchise and other licensing and distribution agreements.
Professional & Community Activities
Mr. Rassi is a Board Member for Habitat for Humanity of Kent County and is currently Chairman of the Real Property Section of the Grand Rapids Bar Association
Mr. Rassi is a co-founder of the Santa Brings a Law Suit© program in Grand Rapids. The program provides business suits to job placement and training organizations focused on providing job skills and opportunities to the displaced or less fortunate members of the community.

Andrew resides in Grand Rapids with his wife Mimi, daughter Leyna and son Brandt.
